About FaLGates
FaLGates was founded by Abubakar Sadiq Mohammed Falalu (MON) in 2012 as a general service and trading company. In 2016, FaLGates set up its first rice milling facility with a capacity to process more than 5,000 metric tons per annum with a workforce of 30 people in Kaduna and over 150 people at the anchored farms in Niger and Kebbi States.
With our headquarter located at Sobawa Industrial Layout Kaduna. Today, FaLGates has employed over 400 staff in its rice processing plant and over 1,000 farmers across the country.
FaLGates has a 1,005 Hectares farm in Kaduna and a 300 tons per day state-of-the-art rice milling facility offering a revolutionary way of farming, crop building and seed processing that is having tremendous economic and social impact in Nigeria’s livelihood.
FaLGates‘ strategic land acquisitions along major dams & rivers in the country is pivotal to the farm’s operations. Partnering with leading experts enabled us to leverage sophisticated workforce to produce and process different rice varieties, both for seeds and grains.
At full capacity, our company will help create more than 5,000 Jobs directly and indirectly all across the rice value chain. Furthermore, plans are in place to help train and transfer knowledge to the local famers in different communities. In addition to setting up seed processing plants, we plan to provide an industrial capacity building platform that will help make agriculture a more lucrative and sustainable business in Nigeria.

FaLGates began production of seeds registering with National Agricultural Seed Council of Nigeria.

FaLGates Farms
FaLGates Farms was incorporated as a form of backward integration process towards achieving substantial supply of paddy rice.
2022
Launching of Rice Mill
FaLGates launched its new state-of-the-art Rice Mill with a capacity to process over 100,000 metric tones per annum.

Managing DirectorMr. Falalu is the Managing Director and founder of FaLGates. He holds a BSc. degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering with a Master of Management from Swinburne University of Technology. He also holds an MSc. degree on Entrepreneurship from University of Nottingham. He also attended a course on International Business at Harvard University. Falalu had attended his National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) with Keffi Local Government, Nasarawa. He began his career as a young entrepreneur, from childhood, he had been exposed to various aspects of businesses at a very young age, giving him the opportunity to further develop FaLGates. Mr. Falalu was listed on Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 Entrepreneurs 2018.

General ManagerSanusi AbdulHamid holds a Higher National Diploma in Food Technology from Kaduna Polytechnic since 1985 and served his NYSC with Oyo State Government in 1985/86. He has since then attended many training courses organised by NAFDAC, SON, BUK, Kano State Ministry of Agriculture, Kaduna State Government, and many others. He has over 3 decades of experience in the agric and agro-allied industry.

Head ProcurementAhmad Kabir Muhammad graduated from Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto, where he obtained a BSc. Degree in Applied Chemistry. With his vast experience in the agric and agro-allied industry, he is one of the biggest dealer and supplier of agric and agro-allied products in Nigeria with multiple businesses across various value chains.

Head Marketing & SalesDahiru Sani Tanko graduated from Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto with a BSc. Computer Science and he is also currently undergoing an MSc. in Computer Science and Entrepreneurship respectively in Kaduna State University. A member of National Institute of Management (NIM). He is a licensed rice distributor within and outside Nigeria. He was once a Managing Director at ZIL Rice Mill and has been a consultant with so many other rice mills.

Head Admin & HREniola Oluwakemi Edogameh holds a BSc. in Accounting from University of Makurdi, Benue State. and an MSc. in Forensic Accounting from Nigerian Defense Academy, Kaduna. Eniola is also an Associate Member - Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Examiners of Nigeria (CIFCFEN). A Financial Modeling Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from Corporate Finance Institute (CFI). She was also a Public Speaker at The Hague (The Netherlands) where she represented Nigeria on- “Boosting Youth Employment in Africa: What Works & Why?”. She is also a Personal Development Advocate- Founder of Mothers Awake Int. with over 5 years working experience in Management, Accounting, Insurance, Hospitality & Foods industries.

Head Special DutiesAbubakar Muhammad is the Head Special Duties and also the personal assistant to the Managing Director. He has a Diploma in Local Government & Development Studies from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (ABU). Abubakar joined FaLGates in 2016 assisting the MD during the early stages of setting up the company, travelling all across Nigeria. He is also experienced in both sales and procurement of various rice by-products.
